I’m sure you already know the story of Oliver’s; a family run, independent café that opened its doors in 2008 to create an environment for Oliver to learn and work, as well as showcase his amazing artwork. We didn’t just want a run of the mill café, more a home from home where our customers could come to enjoy freshly baked cakes (courtesy of Oliver), coffee poured just the way you like it, with dishes made from high quality ingredients and lots of TLC. A place comfortable enough for reading the paper, catching up with friends and family, or a more relaxed alternative for those last-minute business meetings.
Although we’ve been open for almost a decade, we are still learning and growing but I think it is now safe to say that we are well-established in the bizarre and wonderful place that is Belsize Village (it really is a village!) and we couldn’t have done it without you; our loyal customers and customers-to-be. It really is a privilege to see the friendly faces of our regulars and those of new ones visiting for the first time
So, we thought we’d give ourselves a new challenge; to start our very own blog. We believe in the essence of a personal touch so wanted to share regular posts for you to get to know a little bit more about Oliver, the staff that keep things ticking over and be the first to hear about our new and exciting plans.
We’ll keep you updated with our holiday specials, news on up and coming supper clubs, art events and our late-night openings. We’re even planning to open the roof in the back area of the cafe to really enjoy the summer months and alfresco style relaxing.
We hope you’re as excited by this as we are, but more importantly we can’t wait to share that little bit more of Oliver’s with you.
